You ever read a book that is so cute and perfect that you are genuinely sad when it ends? Jay's Gay Agenda is that book.
The characters felt so authentic and were so well written. The book as a whole was an uplifting, feel-good read. I am always on the hunt for queer books that don't focus solely on hardships and the sad parts of the queer existence, and honestly it can be a little disheartening to not be able to find a book that doesn't include something triggering in that regard. Obviously stories of resilience and overcoming adversity are incredibly important, but sometimes it's just nice to escape into a feel-good story.
I was captivated by the world that Jason June has created in their novel, and hope this isn't the last we've heard of Jay (or the many VSB's). I can't wait to read it again!
